The IRS is sometimes slow, but if you are on the tracks, the chances are good, a train will come and if you don't get off the tracks you will be crushed. I believed I had done everything correctly and I was within the law. None of that mattered. Your fate will likely be determined based on case law and by a hostile jury. Get a tax attorney and get back into the system. I have a hard time believing you actually enjoy looking over your shoulder constantly, and protecting the few assets you are able to accrue.
